Ted Takes Nashville--Part Two

Ted Takes Nashville--Part One

Ted had a great playdate in the Harwell's heavenly playroom with Will, Oscar, and Caroline. We spent lots of time in the driveway at home, playing with hoses and riding toys. We had many great visits with Great Grandma. Henry and Romy came over to swing, and Lena loved on Ted a ton.

Lazy Beach Days with Phoebe and Austin

Super Mom Sus drove her babies out to WHB to visit with us. Phoebe was a rock star and Ted and Austin had tons of fun. Ted'surf shirt courtesy of Uncle Richard, sand trucks courtesy of Auntie Ramie. The car was Ted's birthday present from Sugar, which provided our first lesson in sharing.

Ted takes the Big City with the Evans Family

A whirlwind 24 hours in the Big Apple. A playdate in Brooklyn Heights with Austin and Baby Phoebe to start, followed by a marathon walk from 90th/Park to Christopher Street. We visited Sid at his office and finished at Grand Central Station. Ted loves the subway and didn't seemed phased by the thousand degree New York heat.

Playdate with Nora

Summer nights in Long Island with Nora and Benton and Susan. The Brown-Boyle "Shack" is the perfect place for sunset playdates and sandcastles. Ted whispered to me later that this ain't no shack and he is coming back.

Ted turns ONE

Ted tuned one--once in CA for his daddy and once in WHB with his cousin (and birthday partner, Owen). Two great Wet n Wild pool parties with two funny looking cakes. He got a bike helmet and seat from his Dad, a tent and tunnel from Molly and Missy, and tons of great water/fish stuff. The "ONE" t-shirt is by SuperMommy Hopie.

Four teeth for Mother's day and a new ride for Fathers's Day

Ted and his dad both got new wheels...a quadline for Dad and a Kettler tricycle (thank you yard sale) for Ted.

Ted goes to market, to Pt. Reyes, to the central valley and back...

Amy and Andrew bring Tommy to the Berkeley Farmers Market. Jean and Clinton came to town and we joined them to grill pizza with Bruce and Henry up in Pt. Reyes. Tyson and Aysha showed us some real farmers bounty in Esparto. As you can see, Ted and the onion are about the same size. Summer in CA is wonderful. Literally, the apricots and pluots were falling off the trees.
